It has been a trying and life changing year for us as a business and me personally. When I set out to start Megan Ismay Ltd, I didn't know the path it would take us on. My main focus for the brand has always been to empower women and make them feel elegant in their clothes, whilst creating a positive impact on the environment.
On the 30th April, it will be one year exactly since we launched our website and started selling our first collection. To commemorate, I thought I would reflect on some of my favourite moments over the past year.
Working with multiple influencers such as @jetsetterjackie on Instagram. It was amazing to see our creations in the stunning scenery of Ghana.
A campaign with Glamour Magazine featuring our favourite pieces from our collections.
Our photoshoots with amazing models Samantha and Savannah.
Collaborations with Lone Design Club meaning we could sell in pop up shops on Oxford Street at Christmas and Covent Garden for London Fashion Week.
Our dresses selected by @dontaikaory for a TikTok live stream presentation.
The partnership with SilkFred is one which has served us well and helped our business grow.
These have just been some of our key business highlights over the year but I would like to end on my personal highlight of the year. We closed for the first time this month. This is because I gave birth to my son on 27th March.
We are so excited to be back open and even more excited to share the new summer collection launching in May.
